This is one of a series of acrylic/mixed-media paintings, inspired by walls in my city (Manchester) and others.
I’ve always had a love of old walls. I'm fascinated by their sense of history and layers; crumbling plaster, peeling paint, torn fragments of advertising posters and graffiti. I also love the idea of finding beauty in unexpected places.
The panel is sealed with satin varnish, and the sides are painted black. My signature is on one side.
